Cindy Nelson is passionate about helping people easily navigate the legal complexities of life and aging. She’s an attorney and the founder of Nelson Elder Care Law, the largest elder law firm in Georgia. Cindy helps ensure that her clients’ hard-earned assets will be protected if they get sick, need costly care as they age or when they die.
Since 2014, Nelson Elder Care Law has helped more than 3,500 families protect their loved ones. She worked as an associate then partner in a mid-size law firm for 12 years before forming Quathamer Law and transitioning her practice to focus exclusively on estate planning and probate matters.
Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The Ohio State University in Columbus. She is a member of the Georgia Bar and inactive member of the Ohio Bar. She is still a proud Buckeye fan!
An active member of her community, Nicole’s professional and community activities include serving on the Northwest Cobb YMCA Advisory Board, the Ford Elementary School Foundation Board, the Burnt Hickory Lakes HOA Board, and the Towards Employment Board. She has also served as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Chair of Women in Law Section and Minority Clerkship Committee, The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio LeadDIVERSITY Alumni, and Cleveland Bar Foundation “Books for Kids” Co-Chair. Nicole has been recognized as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine and received a YWCA Woman of Excellence Award.
James E. Ward Jr. Managing Partner
James E. Ward Jr. is the Managing Partner of Quest Wealth Advisors, LLC, a financial services firm that specializes in personal and corporate income tax preparation/planning, accounting, and bookkeeping. Quest Wealth Advisors also handles small business and non-profit registration/organization with a focus on making sure the proper corporate entity is selected for tax planning and compliance purposes. Mr. Ward has worked for several large consulting and accounting firms and has over 25 years of experience delivering quality client service.
Mr. Ward conducts educational seminars on various topics including real estate investing, small business organization and personal money management.
Mr. Ward has Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Management degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Mr. Ward is a past President of the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization.
